Sam Freedman is feeling positive about Without A Fight’s recovery ahead of the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival.
The talented import, who last raced in the Melbourne Cup, missed the autumn season due to a minor tendon strain.
However, Freedman provided encouraging updates on his progress, noting that the tendon is scanning well and the horse is coping with increased workload.
If all continues to go well, Without A Fight could be back under saddle in about six weeks.
Freedman expressed optimism about the spring prospects, with Without A Fight featuring prominently in the markets for the Caulfield Cup, Cox Plate, and Melbourne Cup.
