9 Sweet Pretender (Bet Now: $7.50) was a real eye catcher in the Townsville Guineas, making a sustained run from off speed and tried hard but had to settle for a second to a really nice horse, Illegal Justice. Racing well and a win wouldn’t shock.

9 Shelstein (Bet Now: $4.60) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1350m here last start, sitting just off speed and worked home well enough when second to Land Bank. Back to 1200m is a big tick and strikes a winnable race.

11 Manpower (Bet Now:  $SP.00) lands on speed and takes running down, as seen two weeks ago over this trip at Eagle Farm, landing on speed and looked the winner but was nabbed late by Neverenoughlego. Good racing style, he appeals.

1 Mean Approach (Bet Now: $7.00) comes back to 1200m after racing two weeks back over 1400m at Eagle Farm when off speed and tried hard but just whacked late. Back to 1200m I do like and gets in well after the claim.

17 Billionair Baby (Bet Now: $14.00) is knocking on the door and one of the hardest to beat. He was 1400m back to 1200m two weeks ago at Eagle Farm, working home well from off speed when third to Neverenoughlego. Back up in trip, can settle closer, he’ll take a power of beating.

3 Gambino (Bet Now: $6.00) has found winning form and can go on with it, that win coming at Eagle Farm a fortnight back, giving his rivals a start and a beating in an impressive performance. He will likely get off speed again but launch late.

6 Carravilla (Bet Now: $10.00) is on the quick back up after racing at the Sunny Coast on Sunday where she led and gave a good sight from the front but was nabbed late by Archer’s Game. Hard fit, and I think with a bunny to chase, she’ll be far more effective.

6 Cormac T (Bet Now: $7.50) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it, landing on speed a few weeks back and fought hard under pressure to fend them off and score. Good racing style, confident he can measure up.

5 Chillaxing (Bet Now: $9.50) is in the mix for Tony Gollan after a win at Eagle Farm two weeks ago over 2400m, getting the suck run in transit and finished best to score. Been racing really well this prep and should be around the mark against these.

7 Captain Maverick (Bet Now: $4.60) ran third to Chillaxing from two weeks back. He got into a decent spot off speed and presented to win but just lacked the killer blow. Back to 2200m is a big tick, he does command some level of respect.

6 Let’sfacethemusic (Bet Now: $2.50) was a total forgive from a fortnight back at this track/distance when keen, then forced wide, after a tardy start, and was good late without really threatening. If he jumps and lands on the bunny, he takes running down.

11 Zoubaby (Bet Now: $6.00) is flying for Tony Gollan and commands respect after a third at this track/distance three weeks ago, settling near the speed and was there to win but just couldn’t quite get the job done. Racing well and should be around the mark.

1 Fleetwood (Bet Now: $5.50) is a Tony Gollan trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since April 4 when game over 1000m at Eagle Farm. Short course type that can sprint well fresh so watch the market and see what it does.

7 Cape Byron (Bet Now: $10.00) is one of the hardest to beat after a solid effort in the Midway at Rosehill several weeks ago behind Attractiveness, working home well from off speed when third. Getting towards peak fitness and rising to 1600m, he’s one of the hardest to beat.

6 Run Like A Girl… (Bet Now: $9.50) should she have got the protest a fortnight back? Not sure. She did cop interference, but if the winner did run straight, was this girl winning? I say no. Nonetheless, it was a good return off a freshen up and rising to 1200m, she appeals.

4 Star Of The Bar (Bet Now: $9.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1000m two weeks back at Eagle Farm. She got a fair way out of her ground but really liked the way she finished her race off. Better for the run and up in trip, she’s a threat.

6 Ser Joh (Bet Now: $4.50) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He ran over 1200m at Eagle Farm two weeks ago, attempting to lead throughout and tried hard but was no match late for Surprise Honey. 1350m is the query but with a soft trip from the gate, he’ll take holding out.

9 Make A Call (Bet Now: $15.00) is first up for Tony Gollan and commands respect. He hasn’t raced since April 18 when midfield over the mile at Eagle Farm, looking a tired horse. Been given a good break, trial work has been encouraging and gets the claim for Baker.

5 Blazen Boots (Bet Now: $10.00) is an interesting runner. Tony Gollan trained gelding that is first up, his last run seeing him run second on Dec 6 here. Given a good break and although he’ll spot them a start, he’ll be stronger than most at the end.

1 Anemacore (Bet Now: $4.00) is the straight bat play. Big win two weeks ago at Eagle Farm, giving his rivals a start and a beating when launching late from off speed to score. His confidence is up, he can win again and is the top seed for me.

10 Cunnamulla Fella (Bet Now: $5.00) was knocking on the door to win and that win came a few weeks back, sitting off speed and came with a well timed run to score. He can go on with it against these for sure.

13 Kipling’s Journey (Bet Now: $31.00) was okay late behind Cunnamulla Fella a few weeks back at this track/distance, sitting off the pace and worked home pretty well late in the piece without threatening. Dangerous if he gets a more positive steer.
