There has been some late drama on this years Melbourne Cup with a late scratching of a Team Williams horse.
The Danny O’Brien trained King Of Leogrance has been scratched from the 2020 Melbourne Cup field after failing a vetinary inspections this morning.
King Of Leogrance was found to be lame in the off foreleg which prompted vets to scratch the horse from the $8m Melbourne Cup.
Veterinary Information: King of Leogrance has been scratched from the Melbourne Cup (Flemington Race 7) at 7.38am by the Stewards acting on veterinary advice. The horse was inspected by RV veterinarians upon request of the stable and was found to be lame in its off fore leg.
