James McDonald will partner up with Wathnan Racing for Royal Ascot, taking the reins in four of seven races on Tuesday.
His day begins aboard Carl Spackler in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes, a US import trained by Ciaron Maher and priced at $13.
Next up is Archie Watson’s Underwriter in Race 2, who impressed on debut at Ayr and has drawn barrier 18. He’s a $10 shot.
In Race 3, McDonald sticks with the same stable and sire, piloting $34 outsider Aesterius in the G1 King Charles III Stakes, facing a field that includes Asfoora and Believing.
He wraps up his Tuesday card with King’s Gambit in the Listed Wolferton Stakes — the four-year-old drops in grade after a solid G3 run at Newbury and is currently $10.
McDonald will also ride Shine On Me (Race 1), Crimson Advocate (Race 3) and Blue Brother (Race 5) on Wednesday.
