G1 winner Shadow Hero has been sold to Hong Kong interests

Yet another class Aussie galloper, is going off to race in Hong Kong.

While the owners of MASKED CRUSADER have knocked back $3m as we know, the owners of SHADOW HERO haven’t.

The super 3YO, has thus far won 4 races in Australia, a pair of them at Gr 1 level (Randwick Guineas and Champion Stakes) while trained by Mark Newnham.

When he arrives in Hong Kong, Shadow Hero (Pierro-Sookie) will be trained by returning Aussie trainer David Hayes.

The estimated price for buying Shadow Hero is $3.2million.

Which is excellent for a gelding.

Shadow Hero has raced 11 times and earned $1,532,900 in prizemoney thus far.
