Adelaide sprinter Diamonds made headlines on Thursday at the Magic Millions Online Sale, fetching $560,000.
Purchased by bloodstock agent Damon Gabbedy, the daughter of Rich Enuff was offered by Brentknoll Thoroughbreds as a promising racing and breeding prospect.
To date, the mare has proved her worth on the racetrack, bagging eight victories and amassing over $380,000 in prize money across a career that spans 34 starts over multiple seasons.
Trained by Chris Bieg, based in Morphettville, Diamonds clinched the Listed City of Marion Stakes (1200m) and the Listed Christmas Handicap (1200m) last year.
She further demonstrated her prowess by participating in the Magic Millions Fillies and Mares (1300m) and the prestigious Group 1 Sangster Stakes (1200m) in her fifth year.
