The Victorian Racing Tribunal is set to deliver its verdict on Wednesday in the case involving Darren Weir, who faces 10 charges related to animal cruelty and corruption.
Weir admitted to seven charges of animal cruelty during a recent hearing but pleaded not guilty to three charges concerning corrupting the outcome of a race by using a jigger on three racehorses before the 2018 Melbourne Cup at his Warrnambool stables.
Co-accused Tyson Kermond and Jarrod McLean, facing similar charges, will also receive their judgements.
The hearing is slated to commence at 9am on Wednesday.
