Bivouac will not contest the Group One Caulfield Guineas
Trainer James Cummings has confirmed his star three-year-old colt Bivouac will not run in Saturday weeks G1 Caulfield Guineas.
Cummings has opted not to contest the 1600m event at Caulfield with The Everest and the Coolmore Stud Stakes now his likely options.
Godolphin have Alizee and Osborne Bulls in Saturday’s Premiere Stakes with the training operation set to decide on their Everest contender next week.
Golden Rose runner-up Yes Yes Yes is also set t bypass the 2019 Caulfield Guineas for the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.
Bivouac was a $14 chance in Caulfield Guineas odds with bookmakers having priced in the unlikelihood of the horse running in the race.
