Boom stayer Sky Boy will not be seen this year
One of most promising stayers of last season will not be seen this year after suffering a soft tissue injury at training this week.
The Anthony and Edward Cummings trained Sky Boy who won last years Villiers Stakes suffered a soft muscle injury during training this week and will be sent to the paddock immediately and will not bee seen throughout the rest of 2019.
Sky Boy was being targeted at the Group One Doncaster Mile during the Autumn after receiving a ballot exempt entry into the race with his Villiers win.
He was $61 for the Caulfield Cup and $151 in Melbourne Cup markets .
