Racing Victoria vets have inspected all 16 two-year-olds ahead of the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield with three failing initial test.
The Ciaron Maher-trained pair of Cherish Me and Icarian Dream along with the Jason Warren-trained Palm Angel will under another inspection on Friday.
RV vets said the trio had all presented with a change in their gait and as a result will be reinspected to determine their suitability to race.
Race favourite, the Trent Busuttin and Natalie-trained Field Of Play, was provisionally passed fit to start but will also require another inspection on Friday after he has been reshod.
The remaining 12 runners in Victoria’s most prestigious two-year-old race at Caulfield on Saturday have been given the all-clear to start.
