The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr stable is set to unveil its latest European import at Caulfield.
See That Storm will run in a benchmark 100 contest over 1600m on Saturday.
The Price and Kent Jnr team produced Boniface for the first time in Australia last Saturday at Sandown with that galloper running on from the tail to finish fifth behind Seafall.
See That Storm has raced on 10 occasions, registering five wins and five minor placings, but is yet to race at Stakes level.
Saturday’s outing will be his first since July last year when second to Fox Legacy.
“At his last start he ran second in a big Heritage Handicap, and if they were here, they would be Listed, Group 3 level,” Kent Jnr said.
“The horse that beat him then went on to win a race by five-and-a-half lengths at his next start and after that run in a Group 1.
“The form has worked out well from that last race.”
Craig Williams is set to ride See That Storm on Saturday, having ridden the gelding to victory in a Caulfield Heath trial over 1400m on May 14.
“Craig has a great association with Tim Porter through Bella Nipotina,” Kent Jnr said.
“He’s a really cool horse. All his form is at 2000 (metres). He’s high energy, bold going, put him on pace, and he gives a good kick type.
“At the mile, first-up in nearly 12 months, he’ll take improvement, but he has trialled well.
“He’s a nice horse and one to look forward.”
Kent Jnr said See That Storm was likely to have two or three starts through the winter months to give the team a chance to assess the gelding’s capabilities to Australian conditions.
“We’ll work out where he fits. That way we can freshen him for the spring,” Kent Jnr said.
