He tipped her and backed her but for everyone else on AIR TO AIR the run at Rosehill on Saturday was a bitter pill to swallow.
She was chopped out of a run at the top of the Rosehill straight when ready to pounce, then rider Jason Collett allowed her to settle and find stride again.
When he pushed the button at the 200m for a second time she responded, picked up the bit, but again, horses in front of her moved and she clipped heels, wobbled all over the place and lost momentum.
She had been sensationally backed overnight and all through the day so there would be a host of punters upset with her as she came again to run 4th, not far from the winner.
Travesty.
