I own a good share of an unrated 2YO.
And this week we, the collective owners’ group, were called upon to submit some names.
I provided Gentle On My Mind and He’ll Have To Go…because I like names of songs.
Anyway, no decision as yet but that’s not what this story is about.
While doing my due diligence to find names of character and somewhat associated to the lineage, I came across a list of names that have been submitted in the past, over a few years, and that were rejected.
Strangely, in my mind.
And, one at the end of the list that did make it through… somehow.
Try these on.
BEN TIMOVER. Surely named after a family member. Why did this miss out?
NEIL ANBLOWMEE. Again. An uncle who lives in the bush. Still not sure why.
OIL BEEF HOOKED. There must be a butcher within the ranks. Probably an Irish one.
ANITA HANJAAB. Namaste. An Indian family wanted to showcase their daughter. I’m surprised to missed out.
ARFUR FOULKESAYCKE. Everyone has an Uncle Arthur. This one from a strong family probably living in Cessnock or Aberdeen.
And, finally the one that did get through and he raced. Seriously. His name is rather compelling. HOOF HEARTED.
