Did you always want to be a jockey?
No, I wanted to play soccer for Man United.
Do you come from a horse/racing family?
Yes and no, my brother was a jockey but no one else was involved in racing – but now they all are as owners/breeders.
What is your first racing memory?
Makybe Diva winning her first Melbourne Cup because Glen Boss is a family friend.
Who is your favourite horse and why?
Marble Nine, he has given me my biggest race win to date.
Who is the best horse you’ve ridden?
I’m Thunderstruck (trackwork).
And the best horse you have seen?
Black Caviar.
Your favourite racing moment?
Winning my first stakes race at Flemington for my old bosses Leon and Troy Corsten and good mate Will Larkin.

Any winner!
Is there a ride you wish you could do again?
Plenty.

Tempted.
Who do you admire most in racing?
Mark Zahra.
What is one change/improvement you’d love to see in racing?
More people at the races.
What’s the funniest moment you’ve experienced in racing?
Driving to Launceston Cup Day this week in a hire car, my race bag fell out the back of the tray and had to go on a wild goose chase to find it. A lovely lady had picked it up, saw the airport tag with my name and messaged me on Facebook before dropping it off. She asked me for a tip and I said don’t have the best chances today but follow me Friday – hope she did!

Travelling and playing golf.

TV Show: Two And A Half Men.
Movie: Phar Lap.
Book: Restaurant menus.

Dom Dolla in Italy.
