English stayer Young Rascal is the short priced favourite heading into Saturday’s G1 Sydney Cup at Randwock on Day 2 of The Championships.
Young Rascal could not have been more impressive first-up in Australia last time out in the Manion Cup where he wore down Mugatoo in the concluding stages.
The William Haggas trained stayer is set to take plenty of improvement from that run so there are no surprises he is the $2.40 short priced favourite for Saturday’s Sydney Cup in all-in markets.
The Australian Bloodstock pair Mustajeer and Raheen House are on the second and third lines of betting at $5.50 and $6.00 with the well bred Cariff rounding out the horses in single figures at $9.00.
