Toby Edmonds’ filly heads Oxlade Stakes odds

Despite drawing the car park, Granny Red Shoes has been best backed to take out the Oxlade Stakes (1200m) this Saturday at the Sunny Coast.

The Toby Edmonds trained filly comes through the Bill Carter a fortnight back where she was wide throughout and stuck on well in defeat when second to Eawasae. Brilliant winner here first up here and punters are backing in, firming her to $3.90 after opening $4.20.

Toowoomba filly Spirit’s Choice is rock solid at $5.50. She did touch $6 but firmed back in. Only Wanna Sing ($7-$6.50-$7.50) has had support at various stages.
