The Inevitable is favourite for the Thomas Lyons Stakes
Gun local The Inevitable is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for one of the feature races at Hobart this afternoon, the Thomas Lyons Stakes (1400m).
Scott Brunton has a very strong hand at the meeting this meeting, especially in this race, headlined by The Inevitable. That said, he has been soft in betting, but still dominates the market at $1.85, out from $1.70.
Best backed to win has clearly been Rebel Factor, who opened $7 and has been crunched, now into $4.00. First Accused, a stablemate of The Inevitable, is $7.00 to $5.50 and has been popular.
