Team Snowden have had a remarkable run with their youngsters and Sportsbet.com.au punters hope it will continue at Flemington this Saturday in the VRC Member John Gubbins Handicap (1400m).
Decorated Soldier was a solid debut winner at the provincials before going to Canterbury where he stuck on very well behind an above average type in Tango Rain. Despite this being his first look away from Sydney, he has been clearly the best backed runner. He opened $6.50 and now sits at $3.90 aided by the scratching of Loch Oir who was a $4.60 chance before being scratched.
The new outright favourite is closely followed by Zunbaqa at $4.40. The mover at odds is the likely type Whyouask, who opened $11, and has been heavily backed into $6.50.
