One punter had $10,000 on at $5.00 and the Victorian filly’s price was turned into $4.60.
Second favourite Charlie Boy is out to $7.00 and the only firmers are Delectation ($11 into $9.00) and Black Heart Bart ($9.00).
- Press Statement ($4.40) has his head in front of Blueberry Hill ($4.80) in their battle for J.J. Atkins favouritism.
- In the Queensland Derby, Magicool ($21) is the best backed roughie, but favourite Werther is the only one punters want. The three-year-old gelding is $2.30 after $3.30 was bet earlier in the week.
“Punters were biding their time and now they’re lining up to get on Lumosty. She holds twice as much money as Black Heart Bart, which is the second best supported runner,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Christian Jantzen.
