Runaway is the unwanted short priced favourite in Sunday's Australian Hurdle
Runaway has been a key and notable early drifter in betting with Sportsbet.com.au when it comes to the Australian Hurdle (3900m) this Sunday at Sandown.
The WaterBott trained jumper was an easing favourite last time out in the Galleywood at Warrnambool when pipped near the peg by Gobstopper ($9-$8.50). He opened $1.70, which punters thought was too short, and currently sits at $2.05.
The one that has firmed the most in early betting is Ancient King, who ran third in the Galleywood. He opened $8.50 and has firmed to $7 with the chance of a heavy track bringing him right into contention.
