Punters quick to back Waller runner in the Ajax Stakes

Despite being beaten in a benchmark race fresh, Waterford is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au to win the Group ll Ajax Stakes (1500m) this Saturday at Rosehill.

Sibaaq is on the second line of betting at $4.80, clear of last start Randwick winner Ascension at $6. Cepheus has had specking at odds, into $16 from a high of $23.
