Heart Starter has taken a little while to find his feet for Darren Weir, but Sportsbet.com.au punters are confident he can get his first Victorian win in the Travis Harrison Cup (1600m) this Saturday at Moonee Valley.
The Bob Peters owned gelding comes through the Echuca Cup where he worked home nicely late in the piece when third to Tshahitsi. That form has been franked with that horse bolting up at Flemington last week. Punters are on. He opened $7.50 and has firmed at every call, now into $4.50.
That has pretty much seen every other runner ease in betting. But there has been support for a couple of runners, notably God’s In Him ($8.50-$10-$9) and Data Point ($6-$5-$5.50).
