Punters only want to back two horses to win today’s Group Two Adelaide Cup at Morphettville despite it look a very open race on paper.
Bondeiger is the favourite for the race at $3.40 and is one of two horses who punters are backing to win the feature race on today’s Morphettville card with the Maher & Eustace trained galloper shortening from his opening quote of $4.00.
The other horse who punters are backing is the Chris Waller trained Naval Warfare who continues to shorten in betting at every call, he has shortened from $8.00 into $5.50 this morning and has been by far the best backed runner on race day.
Talented Tasmanian stayer Eastender lost admirers after drawing barrier seventeen and punters think the car park draw and big weight will make it too hard for him, he has drifted out a point from $5.50 to $6.50.
Lamborghini is the only other runner in single figures at $9.50 and has been pretty solid around that mark.
