The Champions Sprint at Flemington on Saturday is proving to be impossible for punters to workout with nearly every horse in the race being backed. Giga Kick holds the weight of the cash but only with 28% of the pool.
“Bella Nipotina and Giga Kick pretty much went over the line together in the TAB Everest,” Daffy said.
“Giga Kick always tries his heart out so you know what you’ll get there, while Bella Nipotina is a bit of a drifter in the market but how often do we see that with her and then she wins anyway?
“Although, it is a terrific field and there’s been good interest in Overpass and the two that have come from nowhere are Baraqiel, who has untapped ability, and Bellatrix Star had a fantastic run last start.
“There’s a lot of interest in a lot of horses here.”
