Punters back Alligator Blood to return to form at Eagle Farm

A couple of runners that have been out of the winners list for a while have been firmers with Sportsbet.com.au for the Lough Neagh Stakes (1400m) this afternoon at Eagle Farm.

The jury is out on Alligator Blood and whether or not injury has taken away his brilliance given he’s been quite plain his past couple of runs. But, there are some who think he can bounce back, because he’s been $8.50 in from $10.

Stampe hasn’t won in a little while but has been the most popular runner throughout betting and is the new favourite at $4.60 after opening $6. He has taken over from Tumbler Ridge, who is rock solid at $4.80.
