Ozi Choice heads the market for the Winter Championship Final
Ozi Choice is the top elect in the market for the feature race at Flemington this Saturday, the Winter Championship Final (1600m).
The Darren Weir trained gelding has raced over the 1400m at Flemington at his past two outings, landing some big bets two back before seemingly having his chance last time when second to Chamois Road. He has opened $4.20 and is unchanged.
He holds the call over Magic Consol, also known as Phar Lap after his brilliant win last time. He’s at $5.50 despite drawing the car park, ahead of Silentz at $6.50.
There’s been early specking for likely leader Mihany at $26, who is now into $21.
