Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue after last weekend when finding Moher at the generous odds of $4.
Flemington Race Five Number 3 Petrology ($19):
Trusting him is like trusting Garry Harley to stay away from the buffet at Muswellbrook. Not.Happening. But this is really the sort of race where anything can win, and he classifies as anything. But in all seriousness, his recent efforts at Flemington have been very good in much harder races than this. He draws well, Dunn steers…$19. I could entertain that.
Canterbury Race Two Number 4 Fifty Ways ($17):
Five horse race, and a $17 outsider? I think that’s wrong. On the tote she will start single figures so take the $17. Her two runs haven’t been too bad this time in, and to be air she hasn’t had much luck. As we know, small fields mean the roughie usually wins. $17 does seem overs.
Doomben Race One Number 1 Amexed ($8.00):
Quality stayer that comes back home after a stint in Sydney where he was outclassed in the Metropolitan and then felt the firm track in the Tatts Cup. Comes back to Doomben, and this is a big, big drop in grade. $8…I think he should be half that against this lot.
Morphettville Race Two Number 7 One For Max ($8.00):
Gee I thought he would be a lot shorter in the betting. Ran last Saturday on the Parks track and the slow tempo just wasn’t his go given he is a one paced type that needs to be rolling on a genuine tempo. I think if that can eventuate here, he can improve sharply IMO, and looks a great each way bet at $8.
