Nieta is the favourite to take out the Star Kingdom Stakes

Despite just being okay first up, Nieta is the favourite with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the Star Kingdom Stakes (1200m) this Saturday at Rosehill.
The John Thompson trained mare resumed in the Maurice McCarten a fortnight back and just got too far back in the run behind Dothraki. Up to 1200m suits. The firm track is a concern but nonetheless she is at $4.80 and very solid, holding the call over both Dothraki and New Universe at $6.00.
On the next line of betting is Burning Passion, who is $7.50 out from $7.00, followed by Kaepernick, also out half a point after opening $8.00. There have been a couple of each way bets for Bassett ($41 – $35) and Spright ($16 – $15).
