Melbourne Cup winner Gold Trip heads odds in the Tancred Stakes
Melbourne Cup winner Gold Trip is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Rosehill on Saturday, the Tancred Stakes (2400m).
The Maher/Eustace trained galloper ran last Saturday in the Ranvet behind Dubai Honour and was well held but looks suited up to 2400m and has run well on the back up previously. $4.60 was the opening price and remains there.
Montefilia has been the significant early drifter, out to $5.50 after opening $3.80 favourite. Knight Order has been on the slide as well, out to $8 from $6. Canberra Cup winner Arapaho has been best backed at a price, into $10 from $23.
