Scarlet Dream has opened as the short priced Doomben Roses favourite
Scarlet Dream looks one of the better bets on the Doomben program this Saturday in the Doomben Roses (2000m) and is the filly that punters want in the Oaks lead up.
The Mark Newnham trained filly hasn’t raced since the ATC Oaks when running a game second to Verry Elleegant. She has been freshened up and trialled well since. Blake Shinn is on and despite drawing wide, is the clear filly to beat, she got into $2.40, but is back out to her opening quote of $2.50.
On The White Turf has come on in leaps and bounds in a short space of time and is second favourite at $6.00, in a point with the Kris Lees trained Aliferous, unwanted in early betting and is out to $9.50.
At odds, there has been specking for Duchess Of Lennox ($15-$14).
