He has been a real enigma when it comes to the punters, but those at Sportsbet.com.au are keeping the faith with Lord Of The Sky when he contests the Challenge Stakes (1000m) this Saturday at Randwick.
This will be the first time the Robbie Laing trained sprinter has been at Randwick since finishing a narrow second to star sprinter Chautauqua in the TJ Smith (1200m) this time last year. Should also be noted that he was a late entry for this race, so it’s no surprise to see him backed into $15 from $21.
Favourite for the race is English, and despite some impressive trials, she has been easy, out to $4 from $3.70. Ball Of Muscle ($5-$4.80) has been a firmer off the back of some nice trials himself.
