Local hope Desert Lord heads the market with Ladbrokes.com.au for one of the feature races at the Sunny Coast on Saturday, the Glasshouse Handicap (1400m).
David Vandyke trains on the track and has had a great season, largely thanks to star filly Gypsy Goddess. Desert Lord ran a closing second in the Eye Liner at Ipswich and looks primed for the 1400m on the big track. He’s favourite at $5.50.
Holyfield, who won the Eye Liner, is on the second line of betting, a half point further back. The one specked in early betting is Bullfinch for Chris Waller, into $12 from $17.
