Don’t worry about waiting for trial watch at Rosehill and Caulfield…nothing has caught my eye.
There were some pretty strong performances at the Werribee jump outs on Friday. Find out down below who caught our eye the most.

Werribee- Monday May 15, Weather Overcast, Track Soft.
Heat Two- About Square (2nd):
Second time this Mike Moroney galloper has impressed at the jump outs. He sat outside the speed in this particular trial before taking the lead, and though picked off late, he was under a really good hold. He’ll be winning races this prep for sure.
Heat Three- Aeronautical (1st):
Handy Sydney galloper for Lionel Cohen who hasn’t raced since the Victoria Handicap, but he looked pretty sharp in winning this particular trial, sitting off the speed before peeling wide on the turn and letting down strongly under the urgings of Ollie to win the jump out. Nominated for Flemington this weekend, and should run well despite bumping into Lumosty.
Heat Five- Spatsizi (1st):
Unraced colt for Chris Waller by Savabeel who looked very impressive in this jump out. He sat midfield in the run before peeling wide and presenting. And gee he looked sharp, going to the lead under a hold and winning the jump out. Slick and definitely one to watch.
Heat Eight- Feeling Positive (1st):
Hayes/Dabernig filly that hasn’t raced since January when making a poor debut at Ballarat, running a distant last to Haybah. She led all the way to win this jump out, under a hold from Michael Walker, who made it look better by having a couple of looks over the shoulder in the straight. Bred to swim, so this could be her time of year to win a couple of races.
