There were some pretty impressive efforts at the Warwick Farm trials on Monday, in particular a Godolphin unraced filly. Find out down below who caught our eye the most.

Warwick Farm- Monday, June 29, Weather Fine, Track Heavy8.

Heat Three- Barbed (2nd):

I’ve had enough of the winner Decision Time, so I looked behind him and thought Barbed was pretty good. He settled out the back and peeled wide before letting down nicely late under no pressure from the rider. He went terribly in the June Stakes but looks back on track after this pleasing trial effort.

Heat Four- Fare Well (1st):

Talented mare that had two runs during the Brisbane Winter and was far from disgraced. Back in Sydney and looks spot on. She got away okay and settled near the speed out wide before staying wide on the turn and in the straight and went to the line under a nice hold to win the trial narrowly.

Heat Five- Pearls (2nd):

Unraced Godolphin filly who has trialled on plenty of occasions, the latest being here, and she was clearly the best of the morning. She just ambled along in front under Bowman and wasn’t let go at any stage. She looks well above average and will be winning races, maybe even some good ones.

Heat Seven- See Bling (5th):

Gary Portelli trained colt who had one start in April and finished last behind Sempre Libera, who competed during the Championships. See Bling was spelled after that run and came back here. He jumped okay from the gates but settled in the second half of the field near the inside. He had difficulty getting clear in the straight but eventually got out and worked to the line very strongly. Keep an eye on him when he resumes.
