Hartnell is the horse punters want to back in Saturday's feature at The Valley
The early money in the Dato Tan Chin Nam (1600m) at Moonee Valley this Saturday is with the proven big time performer.
That horse is Hartnell, who resumed with a narrow second in the PB Lawrence. The Valley is a track he’s had trouble at in the past but looks well placed against this lot and punters agree, backing him into $3.60 from $4.20 after as much as $7 was offered in the all in market.
Boom horse Night’s Watch, who produced outstanding figures when winning last Saturday at Caulfield, has eased slightly out to $3.70. The intriguing runner is Bonneval, who won the race last year. She’s at $7.00.
