KEY PLAYS
Race 6- 5 The Vocalist
Been building fitness this campaign and both runs back have been sound. He found the line nicely last start at 2000m, when running some strong sectionals late at Mornington. He is better suited up to 2600m and gets Jye McNeil in the saddle. Think the price on offer is overs in an even contest.
Race 7- 7 Finance Shogun
Won at this track/distance fresh last prep when leading throughout and ended the prep with a good run at Pakenham that rated strongly for this. Logan Bates takes the ride and has a great record on leaders of late. His recent Jump Out at Cranbourne was very good and indicates he’s back in good form. Big price considering he maps favourably and has some ratings in the past good enough to win this.
Finance Shogun did a power of work to find the lead & was still strong enough to stave them all off 💪 pic.twitter.com/qkS6DB8GVf
