Farnan heads early markets for G1 Golden Rose

This year’s Golden Slipper winner Farnan has been installed as favourite to win the Golden Rose

This year’s Golden Slipper winner Farnan has been installed the $6 ‘All In’ favourite at TAB to win the Golden Rose at Rosehill Gardens on September 26.

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained colt has won five of his six starts including the Wyong Magic Millions Classic on December 12, the Silver Slipper at Rosehill on February 22 and the Golden Slipper at Rosehill on March 21.

Doubtland – victorious in the Kindergarten Stakes at Randwick on April 4 – is an $11 chance along with Tagaloa and King’s Legacy.

Tagaloa won the Blue Diamond at Caulfield on February 22 and was fourth in the Golden Slipper.

King’s Legacy won the Inglis Sires’ at Randwick on April 4 and the Champagne Stakes at Randwick a fortnight later.

January’s Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Away Game – fifth in last Saturday’s TAB Classic at Morphettville – is one of five juveniles rated a $15 hope.
