Waterford heads the market for the Ajax Stakes
Despite being a beaten favourite fresh, Waterford heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the Ajax Stakes (1500m) this Saturday at Rosehill.
The winner of this race gets ballot exemption for the Doncaster and that is the plan with Waterford, who needs to win this to be any chance of making the field. He heads betting despite a plain return at Randwick, sitting at $3.70.
Sibaaq is on the second line of betting at $4.20, clear of Scallopini at $6.00, but that horse is likely running at Flemington. Riodini is at $7.00, a point clear of Bandersnatch.
