Punters have a staged a late plunge on today’s $3m Doncaster Mile at Randwick with heavy support coming for a long shot out of the Godolphin yard.
The Godolphin owned Cascadian has been subject of a late plunge on the G1 Doncaster Mile at Randwick today with the geldings price tightening from $18 into $8.50 and continues to shorten with heavy support coming for the son of New Approach after his George Ryder fourth placed finish last time out behind Think It Over.
Punters think the weight drop for Cascadian can see the horse win the time honour Doncaster today which has seen current favourite Mugatoo drift in betting and is now out to $4.60 after touching $5.00 before Think It Over was scratched after playing up in the stalls.
Outside of Cascadian there has been good support for a few other horses at odds with stablemate Best Of Days well backed today and is $41 into $26 as has Forbidden Love who is $17 into $12 and Icebath who has firmed into $19 from $34 after gaining a start in the race.
