LE GAI SOLEIL looks well placed to bring up a hat trick of wins at Randwick in Race 6 and looks the PRICE PUSH play of the day. The filly followed up her maiden win at Canberra with a dominant 3+ length win at Kembla Grange and a repeat of that run will see her winning again.
In the soft conditions the wide gate will not pose an issue and the she looks ready to step up to 1550m. LA GAI SOLEIL is the best bet on the card and I will be pumping more value into her by using Palmerbet’s Price Push, courtesy of their recently launched Bookie Bag.
RACE RESCUE – RANDWICK RACE 7
SO WICKED makes his Australian debut in the last of the day on the Kensington track and is the best RACE RESCUE play on the card. The 5yo mare has shown enough in New Zealand to be moved to Australia’s leading trainer and will be ridden by Sydney’s number one hoop. Her barrier trial was impressive and she is sure to handle the rain affected going. At around $8, the price is too good to let go.
While SO WICKED has done her best racing over the mile, she can sit close in the run from gate 1 and will be finishing strongly over the 1150m. With some luck on the rails, she can weave through the field late and get the money. RACE RESCUE will protect punters if she doesn’t get a clear run until too late.
