The big money has started to come for Black Caviar with Sportingbet Australia taking bets of $200,0000 and $100,000 after moving her price out to $1.08.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said he was still happy to let the punters despite losing a fortune every time the champion mare had run.
“Punters have been filling their pockets thanks to Black Caviar but we will betting punters the top odds again tomorrow,” Sullivan.
“The phone lines lit up as soon as we went $1.08 with bets of $200,000, $100,000 as well as a string of other four and five figure bets.
“This does look to be her easiest task for at least a couple of preparations but I am happy to lay $1.08 all day.”
Scenic Blast is on the second line of betting at $15 for his first start in Australia for over a year following a stint in America.
