Overall Results (Since June 7): $4518 Profit
Bet One- Each Way- Wyong Race One Number 1 Lancaster Bomber:
Think he’s really good odds in a competitive race to kick off the card. Forget his run at Hawkesbury last time. A barrier attendant had hold of the horse which he bungled the start badly and really should have been a late scratching. Trialled up brilliantly here since, should park off a hot speed and looks the value in a tricky race.
Suggested Bet: $20 E/W at $6.5/$2.8 (BetEasy)
Bet Two- Win- Wyong Race Four Number 4 Problem Solver:
If Invincible Star runs a strong 1200m, she’ll win. But if not, I think this mare is the value. On face value, you’d say the run behind Demerara was plain, but keep in mind she was carrying serious condition and would improve with the run. 1200m is no issue for her and the run prior was a beauty. I’m more than happy to have something on at the odds.
Suggested Bet: $20 Win at $7 (BetEasy)
Bet Three- Win- Sandown Race Two Number 9 Yulong September:
On debut and a tricky gate, but I think he’s one of the better bets on the Sandown card. Darren Weir trains this colt and I was really taken by his Ballarat jump out. Off the pace and wasn’t asked for much early on but when given a squeeze, he responded and moved very nicely. Not the strongest maiden going around so he doesn’t have to be a star to beat these.
Suggested Bet: $50 Win at $3.9 (BetEasy)
Bet Four- Parlay 3,4- Sandown Race 3 No 5/Race Four No 6/Race Five No 7/Race Six No 3:
Need three/four to get a collect. Write Your Name should win race three and is around the $1.6-$1.7 mark. Zou York looks well placed in the fourth event and finds a thin race. Likewise wit Du Well in the fifth and the first up win was arrogant. She looks a city class horse. Miss Norway resumes in race six and looked sharp in a recent jump out. Claim for Michael Poy certainly helps.
Suggested Bet: $20= $100 Cost
Bet Five- Win- Balaklava Race Five Number 1 Ethical Dilemna:
All over him and made him the best of the day. Good on debut behind subsequent MV winner Behemoth before going to the 1350m at Strathalbyn where he didn’t appear to handle the tight track but once balanced up, he was really good late. Start three, bigger track, up to 1400m and I don’t think the depth here is strong. Really keen on his chances.
Suggested Bet: $100 Win at $3.3 (Sportsbet)
Total Spend: $310
