Made Lightning Ally the best of the day, but $1.60/thereabouts, I’m happy to watch. I think one of the better gambles on the program is Fair Dinkum in the last. He ran over 1100m in what looked a strong Class 2 at Port Macquarie last Sunday. It was a day where on speed was certainly no disadvantage and for mine he just got too far back in the run from the wide gate. He clocked the second quickest final 600m of the race in a race that didn’t suit given the leader/winner Gumshoe was really rolling in front. Back up to 1250m on his home track, with the soft gate, I think he’s well and truly overs. $16 was a silly opening price and I still think. For me, it’ll be either Bid’N’Bare bolts up fresh or it’ll be a knockout. Hoping it’s the latter and it’s this bloke.
