Dabble has taken another step in its bid to connect with younger punters, signing a landmark partnership with the National Basketball League.
While most Australian basketball betting is driven by the NBA, the NBL has surged in popularity, and with the new season about to begin, the social-focused bookmaker has secured a deal as the league’s official wagering, betting and sportsbook partner.
Dabble’s platform blends social media-style interaction with betting, allowing punters to follow, share and copy bets in real time, creating a strong community experience around wagering.
“The NBL is all about creating experiences that bring fans closer to the game. Dabble shares that same vision, building community through interaction and conversation,” NBL Group chief executive David Stevenson said.
“The agreement builds on the NBL’s ongoing growth as a premier sports and entertainment property. With record attendances, broadcast viewership, and digital engagement, we’re proud that the league continues to attract bold and innovative partners that share our ambition.”
Dabble, part-owned by Tabcorp, has expanded rapidly and now boasts around 800,000 digital customers worldwide, a similar number to Tabcorp’s domestic customer base in Australia.
