Flutter Entertainment, one of the world’s largest online wagering companies, has suffered a cybersecurity breach that compromised personal data from several of its platforms, including Betfair.
In a message sent to users, Betfair confirmed that the incident involved unauthorized access to its exchange service, exposing certain account and contact details.
Hackers were also able to retrieve recent account activity logs, along with technical information such as IP addresses and device identifiers.
Despite the breach, Betfair reassured customers that their passwords, identification documents, and any payment or card information remain secure and were not accessed.
