Qewy is the horse punters want in the Bendigo Cup
The Bendigo Cup (2400m) looks a race in two on paper and that is well and truly reflected in the market for the Group 3 feature to be run on Wednesday.
Both Qewy and Kiwia head the market with both fighting for favouritism. Kiwia opened as the $2.45 favourite when the final field was released on Monday although Qewy has been well supported throughout betting and has shortened from $2.70 into $2.50.
On paper it’s a two horse race, but there has been interest at odds for a couple, with the Metropolitan winner Foundry ($5-$6.50-$6) and Big Memory ($9-$7.50) receiving some specking.
