Beauty Generation is the shortest price favourite across the four majors at Sha Tin this Sunday and has been well backed with take out the Hong Kong Mile (1600m).
The John Moore trained galloper last raced in the traditional lead up, the Jockey Club Mile, where he took off mid race, found the front and dashed right away to smash the track record. He’s at $1.75 to win and could well start shorter.
The only other runner at single figures is Persian Knight at $8.50, in from $9, with Mozu Ascot at $10. No surprise that the Japanese are the main threats in betting given Beauty Generation has been far too good for the locals.
