Avilius has opened as favourite for Saturday's G1 Winx Stakes
Multiple Group One winner Avilius has opened as the clear favourite in Saturday’s Winx Stakes at Randwick.
Online bookmaker Sportsbet has opened Avilius at $3.00 to take out the first Group One of the season in the way of the Winx Stakes over 1400m at Randwick on Saturday.
Avilius will be making his racing return after winning the Tancred Stakes in the Autumn as will second favourite Verry Elleegant who sits on the second line of betting at $4.
Godolphin also have third favourite in the race Alizee who was an impressive first up winner of the Missile Stakes however she is doubtful to run in the race.
There has been some early support for Happy Clapper who is $7’s into $6’s despite a below par trial last week.
