Anatola has been one of the real dominant sprinting mares in the lesser ranks in recent times but she is at the top of the all in market for the Bright Shadow (1200m) this Saturday at Doomben.
The Mark Newnham trained mare broke the 1200m Randwick track record when winning first up before spanking her rivals a fortnight back in the Silk Stocking. Looks well placed this Saturday and the $3.80 might seem a touch of overs.
She holds the call over Test The World at $7, but that mare could well race in the BRC Sprint to try and squeeze into the Stradbroke field. Epidemic, River Racer and Noire are all at $8, with the third mare also a nom for Rosehill so bear that in mind.
An interesting runner is the Henry Dwyer trained Swampland, an $11 chance who has trialled well and stable are very good on the road.
