With Arcadia Queen scratched, the firmer this morning with Sportsbet in All Star Mile (1600m) betting has come for the biggest boom horse of last year.
One of the most hyped horses in recent Australian racing history Russian Camelot has been crucnhed in betting in todays All Star Mile having shortened from $10 into $4.60 and the clear second favourite for the race with Arcadia Queen coming out.
Mugatoo produced great late splits in a slowly run Apollo (1400m) first up behind Colette in what looks like it will be a red hot form reference, if it’s not already. He was $11 but after Arcadia Queen was scratched, he opened $9. He is now an $8 chance.
Probabeel is favourite at $3.50 and is rock solid in betting having had good support throughout betting after winning both her starts in Australia this preparation.
At longer odds, there has been specking for Australian Guineas winner Lunar Fox ($46-$35).
